William F. Roes, MD

Dr. Roes completed his undergraduate education at the University of Washington where he received his BA in Sociology in 1973. He attended medical school at the University of Nevada College of Medical Sciences from 1974-1976, and Washington University from 1976-1978. He completed his residency with Tacoma Family Medicine from 1979-1981. He has been board certified as a family practice physician since 1981. During that time he has been very active in his community while serving as a private practice physician since 1987. His other contributions include:

  • Clinical instructor with the University of Washington Department of Family Practice from 1981-current

  • Past president of Pierce County Chapter of American Academy of Family Physicians

  • Past Chairman of the Department of Family Practice for Tacoma General Hospital

  • Past Chief of Staff for Tacoma General Hospital

  • President of the Board for Northwest Physician's Network

  • 1st Chief of Staff for St. Anthony Hospital

  • Medical Director for Rocky Bay Health Care Facility

  • Volunteer work in Honduras

  • Medical Director for Trinity Free Clinic in Tacoma, WA

  • Director of the Down Home Band

  • President of the Board of Directors for The Mustard Seed Project

Dr. Roes is married with two adult daughters. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and working on his 1968 Mustang.

Dean L. Shriner, ARNP

Rachel L. Criddle, ARNP, FNP, NP-C, MSN

Rachel completed her undergraduate degree at Oregon State University where she received her BS in Biology in 2001. After serving as a communications officer in the Unites States Army, including two overseas tours in Iraq, she returned to Pacific Lutheran University to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2011. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Rachel is particularly interested in women's health issues and helping patients achieve optimal health. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs enjoying the outdoors.
